I am an applied microeconomist specializing in development and environmental economics. My research focuses on identifying and overcoming the frictions that constrain climate change adaptation and international migration in developing countries. I study how to design scalable solutions to these challenges and generate empirical evidence on their effectiveness and implementation at scale. I received my PhD in economics from the University of Southern California and am currently a postdoctoral associate at the Yale Research Initiative on Innovation and Scale (Y-RISE). I also hold a secondary appointment as a lecturer in the Yale Department of Economics, where I teach a senior seminar on the economics of climate change adaptation.
